National Automobile Museum houses collections, where visitors can explore decades of intriguing automobiles, stroll down period-style street scenes and stand inches from cars once owned by the rich and famous. When the National Automobile Museums (The Harrah Collection) opened in 1989,it was reported to have set the standard for the world of automobile museums with its dramatic displays, in-depth interpretation, extensive collection, and exciting opportunities for visitor participation.

The Museum displays more then 200 cars, the majority of which are from the world-famous collection of the late gaming pioneer and avid collector, Bill Harrah. It was named among the “Top Ten Museums” by Car Collector magazine and has ranked one of the best 16 car museums in the world. by “Auto week”. The mission of the NAM (The Harrah Collection) is to collect and preserve the automobile for future generations with an emphasis on vehicles collected by William Fisk “Bill” Harrah, to tell story of the impact of the automobile on American society, and to perpetuate the legacy of Mr. Harrah as a renowned collector.
