Autocar, LLC is a manufacturer and marketer of LCF Class 8 trucks, primarily for refuse and waste disposal, and - since 2001 - the owner of the Xpeditor line. While they are a relatively new participant in the LCF Class 8 truck market, Autocar is also the heir to a storied tradition, one that dates back more than 100 years. In fact, Autocar is the oldest vehicle nameplate in continuous production in the United States. Throughout much of the 20th century, Autocar has built a reputation for truck manufacturing achievements and innovations, including contributions that were instrumental to the Allied Forces’ efforts in World Wars I and II. Today - with more than 200 employees and a rapidly growing market share - we are continuing this tradition of excellence from our headquarters in Hagerstown, Indiana.
